CONVENTION FAQS
New TTMA Members and Convention "First-Timers " will be wearing orange and yellow ribbons, respectively, on their name badges. Please make a special effort to seek these attendees out and introduce yourself. There will be a New Member and First-Timers Orientation on Wednesday, April 23. All attendees are invited to stop by and make our new delegates feel welcome.
Open Golf is now scheduled for Wednesday morning. Mixed Golf has been move to Saturday Morning. Both will include boxed breakfast AND lunch. This allows for more time on Friday evening to schedule on-your-own dinner arrangements.
TTMA has arranged for three private meeting rooms to be available to attendees Tuesday-Saturday. They are set in 30 minute increments with 15 minutes between each slot. Only two slots in a row can be reserved by each company. To reserve, email tamara@trucktrailer.org or jeff@trucktrailer.org.
The Convention Committee has decided to embrace the relaxed yet vibrant spirit of the Caribbean! Suits, sport coats and ties are banned for this event! We're on Island Manners here! Enjoy the event in short-sleeved shirts, shorts or casual pants, flowy skirts, capris and lightweight blouses.
TTMA Annual Convention Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy
If you cannot attend the Annual Convention, you may transfer your registration to another attendee or request a refund. There will be no penalty for cancellations received on or before 3 weeks prior to the Wednesday convention start date. The full amount paid will be refunded. No registration refund will be issued for cancellations received on or after three weeks prior to the Wednesday convention start date, unless in accordance with the Emergency Policy below. The above cancellation policy applies to all registration fees, golf, tennis and extra event registrations.
Emergency Policy
Refunds may be granted if an attendee is unable to attend the Annual Convention due to a family death, illness, or other extraordinary circumstance.
Code of Conduct
Individuals (celebrities, customers, shippers, suppliers) should not be encouraged to attend TTMA Conventions as guests of members. Attendance of such persons will be limited to those formally invited by TTMA. Only TTMA member companies in good standing are invited to attend. TTMA Policy prohibits hospitality rooms and as such, members are requested not to rent public rooms, hire bartenders, musicians, etc. or otherwise engage in large group entertaining in or out of the hotel at any time during the convention. Large group entertaining is defined as more than 20 people at an event. There shall be no conflict with regularly scheduled TTMA functions. We ask your cooperation in not inviting or accepting invitations to dine or golf elsewhere during the scheduled events. Members may invite friends to their rooms for refreshments during periods when no regular TTMA function is scheduled, providing the above policy is not abused. Formal, printed invitations should not be issued to any such activity.
A link and group block code to make hotel reservations will be supplied after your registration has been submitted and paid for. See below for pertinent information: TTMA Room Rate is $281. Rates based on single/double occupancy plus 11% Tax. Please note that a deposit of one nights room and tax is due at time of booking. All upgrades are subject to availability.
Only registered attendees, spouses/guests and speakers can register for the excursions. You may register children at the spouse/guest rate. The Catamaran/Snorkeling Tour is only open to attendees 21 and over.
