Chairman's Welcome

Bob Wahlin, TTMA Chairman of the Board
President and CEO, Stoughton Trailers

TTMA Members,

It is my privilege to welcome you to TTMA’s 78th Annual Convention here at the gorgeous La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas.  The La Cantera Resort is a hill country oasis in beautiful Southern Texas that will prove to be a great venue to network, relax and have fun.

Thank you for taking time out of your personal, business and family schedules to attend our convention.  Your participation and expertise are both appreciated and valued.  Your leadership, knowledge and experience all help shape and give strength to the TTMA.  Special thanks go out to each of our Associate Members, and their spouses/partners, who make the TTMA a great organization.  I am particularly grateful to those who served as members of the Convention Planning Committee.  You are the foundation of this convention, and I greatly appreciate the tremendous work and time put forth to make this event both informative and enjoyable.  Thank you for your hard work and your support.  In addition, I want to recognize the amazing work that Jeff Sims, John Freiler and Carrie Renuart do every day to make the TTMA a highly prolific and productive organization for all our members.

On behalf of the Association, it is my honor to extend a special welcome to our “First-Timers.”  Those of us who are veterans look forward to each TTMA Annual Convention and the opportunity to meet and spend time with you all.  We hope your experience the next few days is enjoyable and productive so that you feel the value of attending this event year after year.  I would also like to encourage you to take full advantage of the programs and activities at the convention to build your industry knowledge and develop business partnerships as well as friendships.

The planning committee has put together a wonderful group of activities, speakers, social events and much more.  The convention planning committee aims to provide programs scheduled across both days that are helpful in addressing some of the more important challenges we face today as business leaders active in the truck trailer manufacturing industry.  Through the sessions planned, we hope this convention provides you with information and inspiration beneficial in facing these challenges as well as helping you capitalize on opportunities available to you as a member of this organization.

Sincerely,

Bob Wahlin
TTMA Chairman of the Board
